NuFlow Installer | Revive Pipes has been Nu Flow's exclusive Nu Drain, Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) installer in Alberta for the better part of the past decade. The high profile sewer rehabilitation projects that we have completed inside of buildings in Edmonton and Calgary have forged Revive Pipes reputation as an elite installer in Nu Flow's worldwide network of licensees of the Nu Drain system.
Nu Flow has been a world leader in developing and manufacturing patented Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) systems that are uniquely suited for rehabilitating wastewater systems inside of buildings. Sewer systems inside of buildings are significantly more complex than systems outside of buildings for many reasons including:
Smaller pipe diameter
Multiple bends in the pipe
Multiple branches of varying sizes connecting to the pipe being lined.
The area above and adjacent to the pipe is occupied by people living or working
Nu Flow developed a patented Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) liner assembly that uses a pull-in-place (PIP) installation method unlike most Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) assemblies that use an inversion installation method. The pull-in-place system used in conjunction with Nu Flow's patented Nu Drain system allows us to install liners in many situations without excavating floors or demolishing walls to create access points.
The Nu Flow, Nu Drain system has the flexibility to also be installed from a single access point in some situations when a second access point is not available. Nu Flow Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) liners can be pushed into place in situations where Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) inversion contractors would likely have to create an excavation point for their access. Access points that we can install Nu Flow Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) liners from include cleanouts, roof vents, toilet closet flanges and manholes.
The Nu Flow system can also form around ninety (90) degree elbows and bends without stretching and thinning of the lining material in the outer radius of the liner. This characteristic ensures the structural integrity of Nu Flow's Nu Drain liner is maintained throughout the bend, unlike an inversion liner.
The pull-in-place (PIP) installation method allows Nu Flow liners to be accurately placed, often with an inch of accuracy in a sewer pipe system. Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) inversion systems suffer from inaccuracies and uncertainty in where liners will terminate in the sewer pipe. Because of the stretching fabric used with inversion lining and the difficulty in measuring liner distances around bends, inversion liners will often terminate at an unintended spot in the sewer system. This can leave part of the sewer pipe unlined or the inversion liner could go too far and block a branch connection or travel into a main pipe, blocking the main sewer line. Revive Pipes uses Nu Flow's patented Nu Drain system in these situations to remove the uncertainty of where the liner will terminate and ensure the sewer pipe is lined properly.
Nu Flow Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) liners can be used in point repairs that are hundreds of feet from an access point on either side of the section of sewer in need of repair. In situations where all of the pipe except for a small section is in good condition, an installation of a Nu Flow spot repair avoids disruptive excavation or demolition.
As the exclusive Nu Flow, Nu Drain licensee in Alberta for nearly the last decade, Revive Pipes has the experience and technical ability to install Nu Flow Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) in complex sewer configurations inside of buildings.
